Daku Resort
Daku Resort is Vintage Fiji at Vintage Prices – all the pleasures of a bure in a traditional bayside resort without the prices of a five star resort. A mile outside Savusavu, it is situated in beautiful tropical gardens looking out over the bay.
Daku Resort is built on an old coconut plantation overlooking Savusavu Bay. Behind it, the mountains rise up steeply offering great walks with fantastic views. In front, the sea laps at the shore and you can swim out to our pontoon or take our boat to the nearby coral reefs – there are even some small reefs in front of the resort. Staying at Daku is like stepping into a Fijian family, where the staff greet you each morning and stop to hear about your day, happy to answer your questions about Fijian life or arrange your trips around the area. Accommodation ranges from self-catering villas with their own pools to simple bures around the main resort pool.
