The Pearl Shack Fiji
Located in picturesque Savusavu, on Fiji’s 2nd largest island Vanua Levu, the Pearl Shack is a cosy beach bungalow designed for those looking to relax and enjoy island life without the hassle and cost of busy hotels or big resorts.
Built from native timber the Pearl Shack is an intimate, open-plan, beach bungalow nestled amongst a large tropical garden. The house contains one queen size bed, a teak day bed (that can also sleep a child), a fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom, sound system and high speed internet. The wrap around deck is furnished for comfort and relaxation with a chair hammock, deck chairs, picnic table, benches, gas barbecue and washing facilities.
The former home of the local pearl farmers Justin and Leanne Hunter (and now managed by them) the house is designed to embrace the ocean. The ocean from the beach to the end of the reef directly in front of the house has been declared a traditional tabu (no fishing) zone for over four years making this marine sanctuary a colourful and active spot for snorkeling during high tides and reef walking on the low tides. World class dive spots are nearby and dives can be booked with reputable dive operators Koro Sun located just a minute down the road.
For relaxation choose your spot to take in the ocean view and breeze, from a shady spot on the deck or out on the beach hammock. The Pearl Shack has a wide selection of books available to read and board games.
For those looking to relax in privacy but would also like to be pampered a maid service can be provided on request. Massages at the house can also be arranged during your stay.
