Gecko’s Resort

Gecko's Resort

Do everything or nothing at All. At a price you can afford to return again and again. At Gecko’s Resort on Fiji’s Coral Coast, you’ll find a sanctuary amidst the tropical foliage. Friendly staff, an array of amenities and clean, bright rooms that make this small resort a gem.

Gecko’s offers Fiji Resort Accommodation set on a four and a half acre historic village site on the beautiful Coral Coast of Fiji. Ten minutes to Sigatoka Town and 45 minutes, via the Queens Highway, from Nadi Airport.
Gecko’s is close to many of the popular resorts on the Coral Coast and is only 500 meters from the Shangri-la Fijian.
You can relax in one of the many quiet spaces that Gecko’s Resort four and a half acres allows for and with only 28 rooms it is easy to be “far from the maddening crowd” and that is what a holiday in Fiji at Gecko’s Resort is all about.

Enjoy a relaxing massage, a cocktail by the pool or play pentanque, all without the queues.
For something a little more adventurous, there’s Volleyball, Horse Trekking, or how about a bike ride to one of the villages?

In the evening the “pace” picks up. Gecko’s Restaurant is well known on the Coral Coast for its great food and Polynesian Dance and Fire Shows.
Gecko’s Resort offers the complete package and we look forward to making your Fiji Island holiday a memorable one.

Karin's Garden

On a perch overlooking the calm, deep blue ocean, Karin’s Garden is located on a lush green acre, a slice of tranquility. You will not believe the views of the sunset over the distant speckled islands as the dolphins play on the sparkling ocean’s surface.

Taveuni is a rare jewel located within one of the world’s four rainforests, Taveuni is unspoiled and uncrowned; featuring rich Fijian culture, lush green vegetation, the richest tropical fruits, magnificent nature walks to several ancient waterfalls (a swimmer’s delight!), snorkeling and diving at a multitude of world class colorful coral reefs, the freshest and tastiest local foods, and the most genuinely friendly people in the world… believe it or not (almost too good to be true!!), this is Taveuni: the garden island of Fiji.
German couple Karin and Peter Uwe Ronczka, dedicated to the beauty, serenity and peace of their garden paradise, offer one spotless and cozy bungalow-style bure, perfectly designed for a couple, family, or group of four.
What cannot be understated here is the peace: at Karin’s Garden you are not at a resort, you have a private, quiet home nestled in the garden jewel of the south pacific. You will feel right at home amongst the scenery, culture, and blissful landscape.

On a perch overlooking the calm, deep blue ocean, Karin’s Garden is located on a lush green acre, a slice of tranquility. You will not believe the views of the sunset over the distant speckled islands as the dolphins play on the sparkling ocean’s surface… you just need to experience it. We are within easy walking distance of local supermarkets, restaurants, dive and kayak rental shops and the Matei Airport (don’t worry; you never hear the planes overhead!).

Location, Location, Location!! Imagine relaxing on a beautiful secluded mile long beach all to yourselves! We are Absolute Beachfront (not across a busy, noisy road or up a hill.) Our new holiday bungalow cottage with large private pool is located in lovely Sekawa Beach Estate, a small park-like estate hidden a half mile from the main road and tucked away along a mile long secluded beach on the north shore of picturesque Savusavu Bay on Fiji’s second largest and virtually undiscovered island of Vanua Levu. Take a step back in time and discover the tropical beauty and peacefulness of a ‘hidden paradise’ that most visitors never see! Awaken to a chorus of tropical birds and gentle waves lapping just steps from your bungalow cottage. Gaze at the tranquil waters of lovely Savusavu Bay from your bed or take an early morning stroll along the long powdery soft sand beach to hunt for interesting shells.

Truly off the beaten path! Sekawa Beach Estate is located on the north shore of spectacular Savusavu Bay, a scenic 12-miles (15 minutes) by car past colorful Fijian villages, from quaint little Savusavu town with its well stocked grocery, many shops, several restaurants, art gallery, handicraft market and a colorful open-air fresh veggie & fish market. The Savusavu Yacht Club and Copra Shed Marina are a favorite for visitors from around the world and the local community.
